Learn to keep bees in Everett master course
A Master Beekeeper introductory and refresher course is 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Mondays, Nov. 16 to Dec. 14, at WSU Snohomish County Extension’s Cougar Auditorium, 600 128th St. S.E., Everett.

The five-week course covers basic beekeeping, bee biology, equipment, disease management and more, and will repeat in February. Learn more here.

Video looks at promising biofuel
A cheap, simple biofuel called cellulosic ethanol may be the first poplar-based fuel to hit the market. A new video by the Advanced Hardwood Biofuels Northwest, a WSU Extension partner, explains how cellulosic ethanol is helping prepare the Pacific Northwest for a new, sustainable industry. Watch it here.
