Greetings Grace participants!
Washington State University is launching a new leadership certificate program that was designed to support women like you with expanding your personal and professional success. I have been working with several colleagues, including Denise Yost and Anna Whitehall, to create a very unique experiential-based training program that is delivered in an online format. We created a solid content frame that comes to life when participants apply the leadership concepts to their real life experiences. We designed the program to expand access to place-bound, time-bound women who struggle to find the time to travel to face-to-face workshops. The 12-week program readily accommodates those who have full-time professional and/or caretaking responsibilities. It is challenging, yet supportive in a way that is manageable for “busy” people.
My work in life-skill enhancement facilitation arenas began at WSU about 11 years ago, soon after I completed my first Grace. This and other similar personal development trainings were transformational for my life path. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to pay that work forward through course offerings to students, staff and faculty and the public for more than a decade now. I am especially proud of the Tidal Leadership Certificate program because, along with my facilitation team, we have been able to incorporate many of the experiences and concepts that we valued on our own personal growth journeys. We would be truly honored to have you and/or those you know and care about join one of the upcoming cohorts.
